I was born and raised in Bikaner, a small town in Rajasthan, famous for its world renowned ‘Bhujiya’. Being from a normal middle class family , I was quite an introvert with no social participation and goals. I was a mediocre in academics as well.
The conclusion of my school life proved to be a turning point when I had to decide about my future. After a lot of contemplation and chaos in the family, I was finally allowed to pursue my undergraduate degree in the Delhi University and hence, I moved to Delhi.
But moving away from home into a metropolitian like Delhi, brings with itself , immense responsibility and freedom,of course!!!
I manifested the same into a strong vision and sense of confidence .
College life came with many unexpected and planned adventures viz. my first hill station trip to Kasol and many more.
With the eternal and unconditional support of my peers , I could finally adjust myself into the life of this megacity.
But still, I had some walls around me, which couldn’t be broken down.
While giving auditions for some college societies, I realized that there is still a long way to go with my learning and at the same time , I developed a keen interest in music . this introduced me to the world of singing. By learning to play and sing over a second hand guitar from youtube, I felt a boost in myself a couple of months of this self learning. I soon realized that Delhi is a perfect place for living my musical dreams and hence I found it to be my true happiness. I am currently working to polish my musical skills.
I lived every moment , I got to fulfill all my dreams and aspirations here. With every opportunity and experience , I have understood that failure . If accepted honestly, proves to be a great teacher and fear is just a state of the mind.
That dialogue from the movie Yeh jawani hai deewani by Ranbir – “Mein udna chata hu, daudna chahta hu, girna bhi chahta hu, bas rukna nahi chahta” has always been my mantra for self motivation. This might found a bit filmy to someone but now this is me. I just want to work hard, I want to explore myself, this world and everything just being regardless about the fear of hurdles, struggles and failure.
